Dr. Mutis, InSer-Lab director, successfully presented his research agenda on semantic resources at MIT.
Date: May 5, 2010
Place: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston
Dr. Mutis presented his research on semantic resources to a group researchers and PhD students under the guide of Professor Jerome J. Connor. It was a successful academic discussion at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The presentation was part of a scheduled research presentation. The The presenters are cutting edge researchers that work on frontiers of science and technology including PhD students from MIT.
The presentation included a discussion of Dr. Mutis' scientific motivations and the theoretical framework of his research efforts and future research directions. The investigation of semantic resources responds to current construction industry challenges, including not only those that search for efficiency and productivity in the field but also those responding to other challenges with pressing concerns in public and private agencies, such as the globalization of the construction industry, a flexible and responsive workforce, and the effective use of materials and natural resources.
